Just 3 km away lies the quaint village of Mana, marking one of the final settlements before the Indian border transitions into Tibet. At the same time, the towering Neelkanth peak casts its majestic presence over pilgrims and travellers.

Day-wise Itinerary for the Spiritual Journey to Badrinath from Haridwar

Day 1 - Arrival at Haridwar and Sightseeing Reach Haridwar by train and check into a hotel. Settling down in the hotel, step out for local sightseeing. There are multiple temples and the Har ki Pauri Ghat, where you can immerse yourself for the entire day. Visit the temples and attend the evening Ganga Aarti in the Har ki Pauri Ghat, followed by an overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 2 - Transfer to Rudraprayag from Haridwar (163 km) The next halt is at Rudraprayag. This place is of high mythological significance. After checking into a hotel in Rudrapayag, engage in visiting some of the temples. Dhari Devi Temple, Rudranath Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Shree Tungeshwar Mahadev Di Temple, etc are some of the shrines to visit in Rudraprayag.

Day 3 - Transfer from Rudraprayag to Badrinath (150 km) Resuming the journey from Rudraprayag, check in to a Hotels in Badrinath . Take a bath and start your journey towards the holy shrine of Badrinath. This holy shrine of Lord Vishnu is crowded by devotees almost throughout the day. Consequently, it will take some time to complete the darshan. After offering prayers at Badrinath Dham, if time and energy permits, proceed to visit Mana Village, the last village near the Indo-Tibet Border. Return to the accommodation at the end of the day and take proper rest.

Day 4 - Badrinath to Srinagar Transfer (184 km) Check into a hotel in Srinagar and relax for some time. Head out from the hotel to visit Kamleshwar Mahadev Temple, Kilkileshwar Mahadev Temple, Chopra Mandir, Dhari Devi Temple, etc. Devprayag is about an hour’s drive from Srinagar. If time and stamina permit, then make a visit to Chandrabadani Temple and Raghunathji Temple.

Day 5 - Back to Haridwar from Srinagar (127 km) After reaching Haridwar from Srinagar, get on board towards the journey back home from Haridwar Railway Station. Alternatively, if have a flight to board, then head towards Dehradun from Srinagar, where you will get flights from Jolly Grant Airport.
